Professor Vrasidias Karalis
Professor Vrasidas Karalis holds the Sir Nicholas Laurantos Chair in Modern Greek and Byzantine Studies at the University of Sydney, where he has taught since 1990. A Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, he has published widely on Byzantine historiography, Greek cinema, literary criticism and political philosophy, and edits the Modern Greek Studies Journal of Australia and New Zealand.
