Why should I attend Open Day?

Open Day will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to chat one-on-one with academics, staff, alumni and current students about your study options and life here at Notre Dame. You’ll also be able to tour our unique town campus, attend information sessions and workshops to find out more about the degrees we have on offer, enjoy live entertainment, tasty treats and much, much more!

Do I need to register to attend Notre Dame’s Open Day?

Yes, registration is essential. Once you’ve registered, you can easily plan your day by adding information sessions, workshops, tours and more to your personalised schedule. And you can update and change your schedule at any time.

We cannot wait for you to join us at our Sydney Campus on Broadway in fabulous Chippendale!

How do I plan my day and book specific sessions?

Planning your day is easy once you’ve registered! Simply explore all the available sessions, adding everything of interest to your very own personalised schedule. There will be a wide range of information sessions, workshops and tours hosted across the day, to give you a better look at what it’s like to be a Notre Dame student!

I’m interested in postgraduate study. Can I attend Open Day?

Yes, of course! Our Open Day has sessions relevant for future students from all walks of life, whether you are interested in undergraduate or postgraduate study.

I’m an international student. Can I attend Open Day?

Yes! International students are more than welcome to attend Open Day and learn more about life here at Notre Dame. You’ll have the opportunity to chat to our International Student Team in our main Expo Hall.

Are there any event restrictions or requirements I need to follow?

If you’re feeling unwell for any reason, we kindly ask you not to attend the event.

We also recommend mask wearing when in close contact with others, particularly in high volume, mixed population settings. Some buildings on campus, such as the School of Medicine, may have a greater requirement for mask wearing.

What time is the event being held?

Open Day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST. You can visit us on campus at any time within these hours, but it’s best to register and plan your day in advance so that you don’t miss any sessions you would like to attend.

Will I be able to speak to staff and students about the degree I’m interested in?

Yes. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to engage with academics, staff, alumni and current students about your degree(s) of interest.

Am I allowed to bring my parents, family members and/or friends with me?

Of course! You’re more than welcome to bring along family members and friends to Open Day. When you register, you’ll be asked how many people will be accompanying you, so please just let us know.

Is it too late to register on the day?

Not at all! Registrations will remain open all the way through the event, so you can register at any time. To make sure that you don’t miss out on any sessions, we would recommend registering and planning your schedule in advance.
