Artificial Intelligence and Christian Wisdom

Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant concept—it is reshaping the way we work, create, relate, and even understand what it means to be human. From generative tools that produce art and literature to algorithms that influence justice, healthcare, and politics, AI is transforming every sphere of life. These changes raise profound questions: How should Christians think about human dignity in an age of machines? What does faithfulness look like when technology promises power, efficiency, and even salvation?

Join renowned scholar Chris Watkin, author of the acclaimed Biblical Critical Theory, for an intensive five-session workshop that brings Scripture into conversation with the most urgent issues of our digital age. Together, we will explore how the Bible’s grand narrative offers both critique and hope in a world captivated by technological progress.

When: Thursday, June 11, 2026 — Thursday, July 9, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM — 10:30 AM (AEST Australian Eastern Standard Time)
Where: Online
Cost: $80 AUD ($30 AUD for students enrolled at UNDA or any other institution)

For North American participants, please note the sessions will run 7:00 pm — 8:30 pm (EDT) the evening before. Due to the time difference, this falls on the Wednesday evening before each listed Thursday date (e.g., Session 1 is Wednesday, 10 June).
