Registrations are now open

Join the UNDA Centre for the History of Philosophy and the School of Philosophy and Theology for a two-day symposium celebrating the richness and diversity of the philosophical tradition across more than two millennia.

Held over two campuses, the Symposium brings together academics and students from the University of Notre Dame Australia for a day in Fremantle and a day in Sydney. Each event features four themed sessions dedicated to Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary Philosophy, offering participants the opportunity to explore the development of philosophical thought from antiquity to the present.

Each 90-minute session includes a lecture by a member of Notre Dame's philosophy staff, a response from a student, and an extended discussion, creating a collaborative forum in which experienced scholars and emerging philosophers engage in dialogue.
