Meet alumni Dr Lucie Mcrory

Meet Dr. Lucie McCrory, an accomplished alumna of The University of Notre Dame Australia, holding both a Master's and PhD in Education. Currently serving as the Principal at Mercedes College, after previously serving as Vice Principal at Newman College.

Dr. McCrory provides her perspective on why she chose Notre Dame and the many advantages it offers for students.

Meet the speaker

David is an experienced educator, having taught secondary school physics and chemistry across various Australian states and extending his expertise internationally in teacher education roles in Papua New Guinea, Canada, and Australia. Has experience in teacher professional learning workshops in South Africa and the Philippines, and his early adoption of online course development since 1995. David's teaching spans chemistry and physics education at both primary and secondary levels, as well as qualitative research methodology.

In research, David is recognised for his focus on physical sciences education, supervising a diverse range of higher degree research students and publishing in qualitative and mixed research methodologies. His supervision extends to projects that incorporate both qualitative and quantitative approaches, covering topics from educational technology to the integration of technology in classrooms across various countries.
