Before Open Day

Q: Do I need to register to attend Notre Dame’s Online Open Day?

A: Yes, registration is essential. Once you have registered, you are free to plan your day, see what’s on offer, and book specific sessions to make sure you get the most out of the day. We suggest downloading Zoom prior to attending our Online Open Day, and ensuring you have the latest version.

Q: How do I plan my day and book specific sessions?

A: Organising your day is easy once you have registered to attend our Online Open Day. Simply book sessions by registering online and access the session. There will also be Live Q&A sessions and on demand videos that you can access at any time during Open Day from 10am-3pm.

Q: I am interested in postgraduate study. Can I attend Notre Dame’s Online Open Day?

A: Our Online Open Day has sessions relevant for future students from all walks of life, whether you are interested in undergraduate or postgraduate study. There will be specific sessions dedicated to information on postgraduate degrees, in addition to the undergraduate sessions.

Q: I am an international student. Can I attend the Online Open Day?
A: Yes. International students are welcome to attend all our sessions about Notre Dame’s programs, student life, Live Q&As and more. Plus, you can chat with our International Office representatives in the Future Student Q&A.

 

Open Day

Q: I have registered. How do I access the Online Open Day on the day?
A: If you have registered in advance, simply log in and access the session. Otherwise, register now.

Q: Is it too late to register on the day?

A: Not at all. You can also register here to join on the day.

Q; How do I ask questions on the day?

A: In most of the information sessions, you will need to ask questions via the online Q&A function. In some other sessions, and during the Live Q&A, you’ll have the option to turn on your camera/microphone to speak to someone or ask questions via the Chat function.

Q: Will I be able to speak to lecturers or students about the degree I’m interested in?

A: Yes. Join one of our Faculty Live Q&A sessions, where you can chat one-on-one with academic staff from your area of interest and have your questions answered.

Q: I have questions about how to apply, fees, or I’m just not sure what to study. Who can help me?
A: Our Future Student Q&A will be running all day from 10am-3pm. Simply jump into the session at any time and one of our friendly advisors or Student Ambassadors can help answer your questions.

Q: I’m having trouble joining Open Day, a Live Q&A or Info Session—where can I get help?
A: Please email sydney@nd.edu.au or give us a call on 02 8204 4404. Please make sure you have updated Zoom to the latest version.
